Vernoy Livingston, affectionately known as "Noy", was born on July 30. 1950 to the union of Grady "Sonny Boy" and Janie "Mama" Livingston. He transitioned to his heavenly home on June 12, 2020.
Vernoy received his formal education in the Aiken County Public School System. At an early age, he accepted the Lord as his Personal Savior and joined the Smyrna Baptist Church. For many years he lived and worked in New York. Upon returning to Aiken, SC, he worked at Palmetto-Richland Hospital and Lexington Medical Center. He married long-time companion Rose and to this union, a love of fishing was born.
God saw he was getting weary. He did what he thought best. He put His arms around him and said, come and rest. It was early Friday morning, June 12, 2020, God opened up His golden gates on that heart-breaking day, and with His arms around him, he gently slipped away. Vernoy leaves to reunite with those who preceded him in death, his son, Anthony Landy, His loving parents, and siblings.
