Mr. Thomas Davis Austin was born on October 01, 1958, to the late Louise Middleton Austin and Johnnie Austin. As he grew up, he became a considerably well-known and likeable person.
He graduated from Pelion High School, and then briefly attended Central Wesley College. Thomas returned to his hometown and began working for Shumpert's Oil Company for the next 16 and a half years. After leaving Shumpert's Oil he began a career of painting for Southern Beauty Painting and 3D Painting business.
Thomas, had a passion for the great outdoors and enjoyed both working and recreational time spent in God's creation. Due to his ill health, in his later years, Thomas worked on various odd jobs for the people he truly loved. He was a faithful member of Darian Baptist Church.
Thomas was preceded in death by his parents, his grandmother, Isabella Austin, and his two sisters: JoAnn Austin and Debra Austin.
Those he leaves behind to cherish his memory are 2 sons: Jonathan Lee Mavins, of the home, Thomas Alexander (Alex) English, Swansea, SC; 2 grandchildren: Jonathan Daniel Lee Mavins, Alaysia Kaydence English; 4 brothers: Donald Austin, Randy (Ellen) Austin, Ray (Brenda) Austin, Johnny Lee (Eartha Mae) Austin; 1 sister: Juanita A. (Mannie) Casteal, a long-time life partner: Minerva Gray; 4 Aunts: Betty Middleton, Dorothy Middleton, Lela Bell Middleton, Eartha Kelly; 1 Uncle: George Middleton; 4 step children: Sandy (Charmane) Chestnut, Shirlene Sulton, Sabrina (Henry) Rug, Robert (LaQuitta) Gray, Samuel (Tabitha) Gray and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives, and friends.

VISITATION
The family of the late Thomas Davis Austin will be accepting friends and visitors on Saturday March 9, 2:00 pm to 7:00 pm at the J.H. Robinson Funeral Home, 190 Railroad Ave,. Wagener SC.
