Ms. Sylvia Johnson Friday was born in Aiken County on September 13, 1944 to the late Elijah and Margaret Johnson.

She entered into eternal rest on October 6, 2025.

Sylvia was employed at Wagener Manufacturing Company for 35 years. She also worked at Fergusons for 5 years.

She loved spending time with her family and friends. One of her favorite pastimes was watching the soap operas.

Sylvia was preceded in death along with her parents by her daughter, Kathy F. Davis.

Left to cherish fond and loving memories are her children, Wade (Victoria) Friday, Jr., Sylvon (Pearl) Friday, Bernard Friday, Anthony (Linda) Friday, Sadie (James) Darns; sisters, Betty Ann Pontoon, Bonnie Holmes, Mary Ann (Danny) Thomas, and Suzanne Holmes; brothers, Henry (Abbie) Holmes and William Holmes; eighteen grands, twenty-one great grands, two great-great grands along with a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and other loving relatives and friends.
