SSG Leroy Williamson was born to the late Reva Robinson Williamson Morgan and the late Hamp Williamson on July 15th, 1945, He departed this life Thursday September 30th, 2021 at the age of 76.
Mr. Williamson was educated at Schofield High School where he graduated in 1963... Being a head strong young man his mom had to receive his diploma for him due to the fact he was already enlisted in the US Air Force.
Mr. Williamson served in the US Air Force from 1963-1967. After that he became an employee with Owens Corning fiberglass as a textile worker...In 1977 he decided to join the US Army Reserves where he was awarded... The Army Service Ribbon, Southwest Asia Service Medal, The National Defense Service Medal, The Air Force Good Conduct Medal, The Army Reserve Coaponents Achievement Medal, The NCO Professional Development Ribbon, The Armed Forces Reserve Medal as well as The Marksman Rifle Army Reserve Comp. He also served in the Gulf War. He was a member of the American Legion Lodge #212.
He leaves to carry on his legacy of Faith, Food and Family... His beloved wife Paulette Williamson, 4 daughters Zelda Renee Williamson-White(Antonio), Latonya Marie Williamson, Yolonda Midrell Williamson, Tevera Dena Williamson. A son Patrick Leroy Williamson, One sister Janie Oakman, a brother Hamp(Duke)Williamson (Star), One Aunt Eddie Bush, A sister in law Pearlette Wynn. He has 14 grandchildren and 1 great grandson. One God daughter Shar'da Wilson. Throughout his years he obtained two bonus sons Dale Yon and Jerome McNeil and a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends that he adored.
