Lance Eric Harley Jr.

Eric Lance Harley Jr. was born on March 30, 1977, to Denise Caughman and the late Lance Tucker. He joined the Lord on December 24, 2021.

Eric graduated from Brookland Cayce High School and attended Morris College. He was a member of Turner Memorial AME of West Columbia, South Carolina since September 26, 1993.  He worked for many years at UPS.

Lance was raised in the home of Edward Prioleau and his late Grandmother, Mary Prioleau, who he called pops and was later raised in the home with his mother Denise and John Lindsay Caughman who he also called “Pops”.  They shared an unbreakable bond.

Mr. Harley loved all of his family members and loved ones, especially Glendora Holmes, who he looked up to and thought of her as his second mom. She spoiled him so much. He was surrounded by love from everyone. He was an athlete who played Basketball, Baseball and Football games for Brookland Cayce High School, and he also enjoyed watching Football and Baseball games.

Mr. Harley was preceded to death by his father, Lance Tucker; his grandmothers Mary Prioleau, and Carolyn Tucker; His great grandmothers Eartha Harley and T.J. Tucker; and his grandfather Earnest Cheatham.

Lance leaves to cherish his memories his mother Denise Caughman of Irmo, SC; Grandfather Edward Prioleau of West Columbia, SC; Two daughters, Terika Harley of Columbia, SC and Shamaria Harley of Houston, Texas; A sister, Erica Tucker of West Columbia, SC; Four brothers Jerome Franklin of NC, Joey Franklin of West Columbia, SC, Joshua Tucker of West Columbia, SC, and John Parks of Johnston, SC; Many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, other family members and friends.

The family of Eric Lance Harley Jr. wishes to give thanks to all for every act of kindness and love shown to the family. All of whom will miss him dearly.
