Glyendia Teresa Davis was born July 31, 1956 in Salley, South Carolina to Anna Laura Quattlebaum and Phillip Lloyd. Glyendia died peacefully on the morning of December 23, 2022 in Minnesota. Glyendia was a beloved daughter, sister, cousin, aunt, mother, grandmother, and friend. Known for her generous spirit and infectious energy, wherever Glyendia traveled she made strangers into friends with ease. Glyendia is loved most by her family and friends that were serenaded on their birthdays with her unique, joyous singing. Above all, God gifted Glyendia with uncommon enthusiasm and generosity.
Funeral services in Washington D.C. will be held Friday, December 30, 2022 at Mount Jezreel Baptist Church, Silver Spring, MD; Viewing starts at 9:30 AM and Celebration of Life will be at 11 AM. Washington D.C. inquiries should be directed to Johnson & Jenkins Funeral Home -
