Obituary

Donnie O’Nel Schofield, son of the late Juanita Schofield,  was born on July 2, 1953 in Aiken County, SC and transitioned to his new home on October 21, 2022.

Donnie worked as a Foreman for Atlanta Gas Light Company. He loved cars, horses, and Western movies. He enjoyed playing cards, cracking jokes, and good soul food.

Donnie was preceded in passing by his spouse Juanita Barnes, and a special Aunt Mary Schofield.

Donnie leaves to cherish the memories of the life he lived a son, Craig O’Neal (Patrice Dixon-Schofield) Schofield of  Fort Stewart, GA; One daughter, Tammy Michelle Schofield of Aiken, SC; Eight Grandchildren, Asha Naomi Schofield from GA, Autumn Ann Michelle Schofield, Case Michael Craig Schofield, Noah Alexander O’Neal Schofield, Cedric Schofield, Ashley Schofield, Joshua Bey, and Aaron Bey, all from SC;  A brother Aloysius Ray Schofield; Two God-daughters Lisa Grisson from Athens Ga, and Lynn Haynes from St Paul, MN, Two lifelong best friends Benjamin Davenport from Wagener, SC and Demetrius Arnold from Athens, GA and a host of other family members and friends.
