Debra Gates

With a whisper, Debra Ann heard the Lord call her name; she answered the call after sixty-sixty good years of her life on this earth to go home and be with the Lord and all of her loved ones that has gone before her. She departed on Tuesday February 19, 2019.

Debra Ann was born June 1, 1952 to the late Joseph C. and Annie M. Wise Gates of Lexington, South Carolina.

Debra Ann received her education at Rosenwald High and C A Johnson High School. She worked at Anacoda of Lexington South Carolina for a number of years, Carolina Gravure of Lexington, South Carolina, and Dekatron, all of Lexington, South Carolina

Debra Ann join New Bethel at an early age where she served on the Senior Usher Board, Gospel Choir, Steward Board Women Ministry, She also was a delegate for the 2018 Annual Conference for the Columbia Conference.

Debra Ann is preceded in death by her Father and Mother Joseph C. and Annie Mae Wise Gates, a Sister Joyce Elaine Gates.

Debra Ann leaves to cherish her fond memories, Three brothers Marvin (Carolyn) Gates, Ezzard Gates, and Venev Gates all of Lexington South Carolina, Two sister Evangelist Claudietta Davis, and Leticia Gates both of Lexington, South Carolina. One uncle Andrew (Lillian) Gates, Three aunts Serena Jones of Maryland, Betty Wise of San Diego California, and Vernell Gates Hopson of Batesburg-Leesville South Carolina.

Debra Ann had no children, but she affectionately had CAT name IZZYB B that she loved so dear to her that was her child

A host of Nieces, Nephews Cousins, and other family members and friends.
