Obituary

Mr. Clarence Brown was born on April 4, 1952 to the late Gus and Marion Brown in Aiken County, South Carolina.  He departed this life on March 20, 2023.

At an early age, Clarence joined the Zion Hill Missionary Baptist Church of Kitchings Mills SC.  He attended the public schools of Aiken County, graduating from Wagener Sally High School.

Clarence was a long-time employee of the Wagener Manufacturing Company. He later worked for Graniteville Mill in Graniteville, SC.

Clarence was preceded in death by his parents, Gus and Marion Brown; 9 brothers, Gus Jr, Ephron, Willie, Wilbert, Preston, Eugene, Roosevelt, Alonzo, and Odell Brown;  5 sisters Jessie Mae Chandler, Dora Mae Millhouse, Marietta Thompson, Alberta Brown, and Ruby Lee Staley.

Clarence leaves to cherish his precious memories his 2 remaining sisters Yvonne Briggs, and Margaret Gantt; a special nephew Brandon Konarik, and a host of nieces, other nephews, cousins other family members and friends.
