Willie Edward Wise, son of the late Paul Willie Wise and the late Maggie Miller Wise, was born on November 27, 1944 and passed on July 26, 2022.

Wllie attended the Lexington Rosenwald School of Lexington, SC.  He married Sammie Mae G. Wise.  Willie was a faithful and loving husband and father.  He was a hard working man in the Lexington community.  He was employed as a butcher at Caughman's Meat Plant for over 60 years, and also worked as a landscaper.  Willie was a dedicated and faithful member at Pleasant Hill Baptist Church, where he was an active member of the Trustee Ministry at the church.

Willie leaves to cherish the life that he lived, his wife, Sammie Mae Wise, his son Willie Edward (Geneva)  Wise Jr., his daughter Marguerite Murry; his brothers Joseph (Azalee) Wise, and Paul Willie Wise Jr. , his sisters Illeen Wise, Joyce Jeffers, Brenda (Gary) Holley, and Linda (Roy) Hayes, his grandchildren, great grandchildren, a dear cousin Martha Haltiwanger, and a host of nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews and other family members and friends whose lives he has touched.

Services for Mr Wise will be held at Pleasant Hill Baptist Church in Lexington, SC at 1:00pm.  There will be a viewing for Mr Wise on Saturday July 30, 2022 from 2 to 6 pm at the J.H. Robinson Funeral Home Chapel in Lexington, SC.
