On Saturday ,May 28,2016 at 12:45 p.m. ,Willie R. Green (a.k.a"Brother Soul")answered the the call from our Heavenly Father and entered into his eternal resting place. He was surrounded by his loving wife Azealea D. Bigelow-Green and love ones at Lexington Medical Center. He was born on February 10,1938 in Wrightsvillie,Georgia to Mrs.Georgia Bell and Joseph Dashiell.Willie R. Green relocated to New Jersey and Graduated from Thomas Jefferson High School (Elizabeth, New Jersey). He then met and married Kay Green,from their union four children was born. He later married to cherish his wife Azealea D.B. Green of thirty-one years. He leaves behind (four brothers); Scotty (Bernadette) Dashiell; Larry (Lisa) Dashiell; Howard (Delores) Dashiell; Phill (Tina) Dashiell; (two sons) Willie Kent (Leslie) Green; Vernon (Audrena) Green.One son Drake Green and one brother Rev.Bob Wilcher whom has preceded his in death as well as his parents Mrs.Gerogia Bell and Joseph Dashiell. (Three daughters) Monica Green; Lareice W. Bigelow ; Nicole Bigelow. Eleven grandchildren: Eric (Gesmene) Green; Daniel (Maria) Bigelow; Keyona; Aniyah; Devonia; Natasha; Erica; Johnathan; Kelsey; Marcus; Malcolm. One greatgrandson Samuel Bigelow and a host of Neices, nephews, cousins and many friends. Willie R. Green retired from General Motors after 31 years of dedicated service as an inspector. In 1996, he moved to Gilbert ,South Carolina and joined SpringHill AME Church with his wife Azealea. Will loved singing and leaves to cherish his family and friends. There will be a Public viewing for Mr.Willie R. Green on Friday June 3,2016 at the J.H.Robinson Funeral Home;at 701 Hendrix Street, Lexington,S.C 29072. The viewing will be held from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. Funeral services for Mr.Willie Green will be held on Saturday,June 4,2016 at 11 am at SpringHill AME Chuch ;228 WindyHill Court ,Gilbert,SC 29054.
