Mr. Willie Edward Wise, Sr was born October 5, 1945 in Lexington, South Carolina to Rosa C. & George Wise, and Patrick Dreher. He was preceded in death by his brother Cleaster Corley.

Willie (Bill) graduated from Lexington Rosenwald High School.  He joined the United States Marine Corps.  Willie retired from SCE&G in 2012.

Willie (Bill) was loved by all who knew him and will be greatly missed by his family and friends.  Willie loved to cook for his family and friends.

Those left to cherish his memories are: his loving wife, Mildred Wise, of Lexington, SC; two daughters; Marcy Strother (Joe) and Portia Wise; one son, Willie E Wise, Jr. (Tara); two  aunts  Lessie Leaphart and Alline Cook; one uncle Sydney  Caughman (Vivian); one grandson Joshua Wise;  three granddaughters, Jokisha Ferguson (Michael), Tamia Wise, and Taniya Smith; two sisters-in-law, Denise Johnson and Sandra McCoy; two brothers-in-law Michael Davenport and Dwight Davis; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other family members, and friends.
