On Monday, February 11, 2013, God sent His angel for Woodie. He had prepared his room after a lengthy illness. "Woodie" was born August 3, 1953 in Lexington, South Carolina to Juanita R. Walker and the late William "T." Walker, Sr. He attended the Lexington schools. Before his illness, Woodie worked for many years at White's Auto, and later at Howard B. Jones. Woodie was a very devoted son who leaves to mourn his passing: his loving mother - Mrs. Juanita R. Walker; his caring and compassionate sister - Wanda (Jimmy) Foulks; his niece - Lyvette (Tony) Snelgrove; his nephew - Torrey Foulks; three aunts - Mrs. Doris King of Columbia, South Carolina, Mattie (Charles) Hudson of Lexington, South Carolina and Panzie (Michael) Johnson of Centreville, Virginia; five uncles - Leon Dean of Dallas, Texas, Robert Jones, George (Roxie) Leaphart and Abraham (Barbara) Leaphart, all of Lexington, South Carolina and Frank (Rosetta) Leaphart of Irmo, South Carolina and a host of other loving nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and many sorrowing friends.
