Mr. Walter  McCombs, Jr. affectionately known as "Buggy", was born on February 17, 1934, to the late Walter and Estell Steadman McCombs, in Washington, DC.  He entered into rest peacefully on Saturday, July 3, at Augusta University hospital.

Buggy grew up in the Washington DC area.  He worked  security at several entertainment establishments in the DC area.  After moving to South Carolina, he was involved in various service related jobs in the Wagener community.  He continued his Christian experience by uniting in membership with the Chalk Hill Baptist Church.

Walter was preceded in death by his father and mother, Walter and Estell, and his sisters, Emma and  Elizabeth.

Walter leaves to mourn his passing: sons, Larry Lashley, Orangeburg, SC, Carl Milhouse, Aiken, SC, a brother, Wallace "Jabo" McCombs, Oxon Hill, MD; and a host of  nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

Buggy's presence will truly be missed!
