Obituary

Ulysses "Boy Boy" James, Jr. was the son of Ulysses James Sr. and Jeanette L. James. "Boy Boy" was born on January 12th, 1969. He was educated in the Aiken County Public School System and graduated from Wagener-Salley High in 1987. He joined the Army Reserves at an early age. He joined the Chalk Hill Baptist Church at an early age. At the age of twenty, he served as Vice-Superintendent of the Sunday School Department. He was employed by Sloan Construction until his illness. He was an avid Dallas Cowboys fan. "Boy Boy" leaves to cherish his memory; his loving and devoted, Ulysses James, Sr. and Jeanette L. James of Wagener, SC; two sons, James (Deandrea) Sampson of Perry, SC and Justin Adams of Batesburg, SC; Five daughters, Quendarlyn Adams, Kendra Adams, Ashley Adams, Amber Adams, and Eboney Adams, all of Batesburg, SC; Ten Grandchildren, Nigel, James Jr., Jametria, Kailyn, Mariah, Jhaziyah, Nyasia, Jamarcus, Journey and Miracle; Five Brothers; Steve Landy of Perry, SC, Rodney James, Tyrone James, Darrell James and Michael James all of Wagener, SC; Two Sisters, Joann (Larry) Cannon of Batesburg, SC and Shanequa James of Wagener, SC; a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, friends and a very special friend, Evaline Adams. "Boy Boy" will be missed by many.

Service Information

Visitation will be held at J.H. Robinson Funeral Home, 190 Railroad Ave W., Wagener, SC on Saturday, January 16th, 2016 from the hours of 6pm - 8pm. Funeral Services will be held at Chalk Hill Baptist Church, 3419 New Holland Rd, Wagener, SC 29164, on Sunday, January 17th, 2016 at 2:30pm. Viewing will be available one hour prior to service.
