Tyron Cullum entered into rest on Sunday, August 9, 2026, at Piedmont Augusta Hospital in Augusta, Georgia. He was born in Wagener, South Carolina on August 17, 1966 to the late Bonnie Cullum Mills and Billy Williams.

Tyron attended the schools of Aiken County, SC and graduated from Wagener-Salley High School with the class of 1984.

Mr. Tyron Cullum worked as a truck driver from 2008 to present day. He was a faithful member of Baughmanville Baptist Church. He enjoyed fishing with his good partners Ronnie Salley, Johnnie Miles, and Nathaniel Scott. He also loved spending time with his loved ones and friends.

He was preceded in death by the following relatives: parents, Bonnie Cullum Mills and William Henry Mills; grandparents, Bessie Cullum and Landis Cullum.

He leaves behind those to cherish his memory: children, Marcus Thurmond of Wagener, South Carolina, Marquis Thurmond of Wagener, South Carolina, Passion Cullum of Salley, South Carolina, and Marquaveus Thurmond of Wagener, South Carolina; sister, Rhonda Mills of Augusta, Georgia; brother, William Duane (Anita) Mills of Fayetteville, North Carolina; grandchildren, Teigan Pough and Promiss Pough of Salley, South Carolina; aunts, Barbara Frazier of Wagener, South Carolina, Annette Pinckney of Wagener, South Carolina; nieces, Dekaysia Mills of Fayetteville, North Carolina and Porsha (Marco) Mills of Augusta, Georgia; great-niece, Paris Ryans of Augusta, Georgia; special friend, Chiquita Davis and other family members and friends.
