Truth Amir Lashawn
Carter
February 19, 2026 – April 5, 2026
Truth Amir Lashawn Carter was born on February 19, 2026, in Aiken, South Carolina. Though his time on earth was brief, his life was filled with love, warmth, and a special bond that will never be forgotten.
Truth was a loving baby who adored his twin sister. Even in his earliest days, he showed a gentle and caring spirit, cuddling to her close, comforting her cries as a protective twin brother, and enjoying feeding time. His presence brought joy and light to all who were blessed to know him.
While his journey was shorter than expected, we are grateful to God for the precious time we were given to love and cherish him.
Truth departed his earthly journey on Sunday, April 6, 2026, at Aiken Regional Medical Center.
He was preceded in death by his maternal aunt, Lashanda Patterson.
He leaves to cherish his precious memories: his loving parents, Andrea Patterson of Williston, SC, Telvin Ernest Carter of Fairfax, SC; his maternal grandmother, Lola Patterson of Aiken, SC; his paternal grandparents, Ernest and Carolyn Carter of Fairfax, SC, and Tara and Ronnie Williams of Neeses, SC; his big brother, Gavin Johnson of Williston, SC; his twin sister, Honesty Amira Michelle Carter of Williston, SC; his aunts, Tyechia Patterson, Shateria Moody and Melissa Raiford all of Aiken, SC, Sierra Moody of Greenville, SC, Jasmine Murdock of Denmark, SC, Megan Carter of Fairfax, SC, and Sha’kel Jackson of Augusta, GA; his uncles, Jaquavian Deloach of Rockhill SC, Joquan Deloach of Fairfax, SC, along with a host of cousins and relatives. Though he is no longer in our arms, Truth will forever live in our hearts.
God needed one more angel child To brighten Heaven’s skies, So He gently called your precious name And carried you on high.
Though we held you for a little while, Your love will never part, For you left your tiny footprints Forever on our hearts.
Sleep peacefully, sweet baby Truth, Wrapped in Heaven’s care, And know that love will always reach you— Even there.
