Thomas A. Thompson, the son of John R. Thompson and Annie Rebecca Thompson, was born on February 9, 1954. He departed this life on Friday, March 30, 2018 at the Lexington Medical Center.
Thomas graduated from Lexington High School, class of 1972. While in school he enjoyed playing football and running track. Thomas went on to work at several places. He is a retired employee of Michelin in Lexington, South Carolina. He later returned to work at the Lexington Technology Center.
Thomas joined St. Paul Baptist Church at an early age and served faithfully until his failing health. Thomas was known by many and loved by all. He loved spending time with his family and friends. He had a passion for horses, politics and sports. He enjoyed watching and talking about his beloved Dallas Cowboys.
He was preceded in death by his parents, John and Rebecca Thompson and one brother, John Jr.
Those left to cherish his fond memories: his loving wife, Connie L. Thompson; Three children, Jermaine Strother and Ashley Thompson; One Loving Sister, Thomasina Thompson; Seven Grandchildren, Bajon Strother, Tyler Strother, London Brailey, Rebekah Smith, Logan Pounds and Armani Dickerson; and a host of cousins and dear friends.

VISITATION: The family of Mr. Thomas Thompson will be accepting friends and well wishers on Tuesday, April 3 from 4-7 pm at the J. H. Robinson Funeral Home of Lexington, SC.
FUNERAL: The funeral services for Mr. Thomas will take place on Wednesday, April 4 at St. Paul Missionary Baptist Church, 606 West Main Street, Lexington, SC 29072, starting at 2:00 pm. There will be a final public viewing one hour prior to services.
