Terry Jones, son of the late Gladys Davis, William "Doug" Green, and his father and foster parents Mr. M. and Mary Jones.  He was the Godson on Herbert Powell.  Terry  passed away on March 6, 2023.

Terry, also affectionately know as "TJ" and "Stringbean, was born on July 14, 1957 in Lexington, SC.

Terry grew up in the Lexington area and attended Lexington Rosenwald Elementary and Lexington High School in Lexington, SC.

Terry was a very friendly person, spending most of his time helping others.  He would do everything from assisting the elderly to get their day started, landscaping, and performing task for those that needed his help.

Terry worked many jobs in and around the city of Lexington, to include Franks Car Wash, where he work many many years, and Addy dodge.  All that knew him were very fond of him and enjoyed seeing his smiling face.

Honea Path, SC, Arlene Thomas, Cleveland, OH,  Ms Jannie Bickley of New York, Ms Thelm Strother of Lexington, SC, Mrs Jannie Belle Harris of Lexington, SC; and Aunt Contina; Uncles Mr Monroe Dreher of Columbia, SC Mr Thomas (Loretta) Dreher of West Columbia, SC, Mr Andrew (Evelyn) Dreher of Pennsylvania; Close friends Mr Randall (Annette) Byrd of Lexington, Mrs Teresa Addy and Family, Kathy Miller and Family, Mike at Frank's Car wash, Mrs Caughman; Childhood friends the Strothers, Mickens and Andersons; Classmates, Cousins, friends and other businesses that he had formed relationships with through out the years.
