On October 8, 2024, our dear Mother, Sister, Grandmother, Aunt, and Friend, Shirley Ann West, went home to be with the Lord.  Shirley Ann was born to James B., and Mary Davis on July 28, 1947, in Lexington, SC.

Shirley Ann attended Rosenwald School in Lexington, SC.  She joined St. Paul Missionary Baptist Church in Lexington at an early age.  She served faithfully on the Senior Usher Board until her health declined.  She worked with Lexington Linen Services, and Lexington School District One for Many years.  When she relocated to New York City, she worked for Visiting Nurses Services.

Shirley Ann was preceded in death by her parents, James and Mary Davis; Sister, Ermanise D. Franklin, and Brother Wille E. Davis, all of Lexington, SC.

Those left to cherish the many memories of her precious life that Shirley Ann lived includes a devoted daughter, Senita Sutton; Three loving granddaughters; Tiffany Garmon, Brittany Sutton, and Shakera Ann Franklin;  Four adorable great grandchildren, Johnathan (Leek) Walker, Shamond Walker, Brayden Davis, and Maylasia Robinson; Six caring siblings, James Davis, Jr., Robert Davis, Johnny Davis, Rosezella Singleton, Sevema Camacho, and Milton Patrick Davis; One helpful sister-in-law, Lorraine Davis and Brother-in-law Edgar Camacho, a sweet aunt, Jannie B. Harris, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family members, and friends.
