Shaddy Smith Watson was the daughter of the late George and Lillie Smith. She departed life peacefully on August 9th, 2014 at the Aiken Retional Medical Center, Aiken , South Carolina. Shaddy was a very active member within the Caledonia Baptist Church. She servied on the Usher Boardm was an active Mother of the Church, Served as a Sunday School Teach, and was a member of the Senior Choir and the Deaconess Board. She loved caring for others and throughout her live she cared for her family as well as for others as a private home caregiver. She was married for 52 years to the late Andrew David Watson and out of that union seven children were born and six are left with cherished memories; Eddie (Beverly) Watson, Batesburg, South Carolina, Charles (Sharlene) Watson, Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania, Carl (Brenda) Watson, Monetta, South Carollina, Alfonso (Tamara) Watson, Charlottesville, Virginia, Debbie Watson, Batesburg, South Carolina; one brother, James "Jive" Smith; one siste-in-law, Elewese Smith; 13 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren, and many nieces, nephews, cousins ,and friends

Service Information

The family of Mrs. Watson will be accepting visitors on Tuesday, August 12, 2014 from 3-8PM at JH Robinson Funeral Home, 190 Railroad Ave, Wagener, SC. A Going Home Service will be held at Calidonia Baptist Church on Wednesday, August 13, 2014 at 12:00PM. There will be a brief viewing of Watson before the funeral service, beginning at 11:00AM.
