Scottrell Juarez West was born on February 2, 1988 to the late Scottie Levern Jones and Nora Bell West.  He entered into eternal rest on August 21, 2025.

Scottrell attended Batesburg-Leesville High School.  At an early age he joined the Friendship Missionary Baptist Church.  He held many jobs during his blessed life. He worked at Southern Cmmercial, First Alert and Amick Farms.

Scottrell loved gathering with his family and having dinner. He also enjoyed chilling with his niecs and nephews, cousins and his sister. He was alwayswilling to lend a helping hand and assist wherever it was needed. Scottrell loved cooking for others and and he enjoyed basketball and football.

Along with his father, Scottrell was preceded in death by his grandparents, Ned and Lorana J. West and Grandmother Vera Jones.

Scottrell leaves to cherish his fond memories, his mother, Nora B. West of Batesburg-Leesville, S.C; • Sisters, Tamica L. West (Tray Jackson) of Lexington, and Valerie D. Jones of Charlotte, N.C.; brothes Cedric (Stephanie) Jones of Swansea, S.C., Dedric Jones and Vidal Jones of Charlotte, N.C.; Aunts Jannie Ruth Todman of Batesburg-Leesville S.C., Roberta (Jerome) Culbreath of Batesburg- Leesville, S.C., Nettie Lee Dozier of Bronx, N.Y., Michelle (John) Samuels of Irmo, S.C., Regina MCoy of Charleston, S.C., Tammie Jones, and June Jones both of Cayce, S.C.; Uncles Elzie (Katie) West of Lexington, S.C., Ned (Heidi) West III of Peoria, IL Timothy (Mary Ann) West of Batesburg-Leesville S.C., Bernard Jones and Darnel Jones of Columbia, S.C.; five great aunts, Barbara "Bobbie" Etheredge of Saluda, S.C., Mamie Sue Corley of Atlanta, Geurgia, Mary Jones and Maggie West both of Hackensack.N.J., and Minnie Meachem of Fayetteville, N.C., one great uncle, Major "Tiny Boy" West, and host of nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews.
