Mrs Rosa Lee Tyler, the beloved daughter of the late Otis and Essie Hammonds Williams, was born on November 29, 1937, and was called home to take her rest at the age of 81 by our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Friday, December 27, 2018.
Mrs. Tyler attended school in Aiken County and later worked in the school system for many years. At an early age Rosa started attending Smyrna Baptist Church, where she became a lifelong member.
Rosa was also proceeded in death by four brothers; Otis Jr., Westley, Peter and Willie Willaims; Three sisters, Idella Gunter, Janet Williams, and Cloteal Kitchings; a daughter, Dorris T. Adams; two Son-in-laws Wyman Quattlebaum Jr., and Henry Edward Adams; seven brothers-in-law Raymond, Cornell, Lenell, Bobby, Willie, Oneal, and Donnie Tyler; three sister-in-laws Ella Mae and Lila Mae Tyler, and Bertha M. Cobbs; and one great-grandson.
Rosa leaves to cherish the memories of her life a daughter, Veronica T. Quattlebaum; five grandchildren, Debbie (CW) Sellers, Virginia Quattlebaum, Melisse Quattlebaum, Rodney Quattlebaum, and Shonell Adams; 13 great-grandchildren, 4 great-great-grandchildren, two Sisters-in-law, Janet (Eric) Hartwell of Pelion, SC, Geneva Key of Aiken, SC; two brothers-in-law, Billy (Barbara) Tyler of Atlanta, GA, and Aiken Tyler Jr., of Columbia, SC and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and many loving friends.
