IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Ronald
Keel
January 22, 1949 – July 5, 2025
Ron was very caring, kind hearted, loving, compassionate and willing to help anyone. He was born January 22, 1949 in Pontiac, Michigan. He was the beloved son of the late Ray and Majorie Keel. He was also a beloved brother, uncle and cousin.
Ron grew up and lived in Michigan and in California and spent vacation time visiting South Carolina. He loved cars and enjoyed watching NASCAR. Ron owned a classic 1969 Firebird convertible and hoped to drive it in the Woodward cruise this summer.
He was a jack of all trades and handy at fixings things. Ron worked on cars, was a really good painter and could build things.
He was really into music especially classic rock and roll from the 60s and 70s. His hobbies included stamp and coin collecting and genealogy. Ron spent many hours researching family lineage and history. This led to his desire to be buried in the Keel family cemetery by his Great Grandfather Carson Keel, Great Grandmother Jane Howell Keel, Grandfather Wade Hampton Keel and Grandmother Minnie Lee Cook Keel in Wagener, South Carolina.
He will forever be in our hearts and mind.
