Robert was born in Richland County, on October 3, 1960 to the late William Wilson and Earthlene Walker. He attended school in Richland County, graduated from Keenan High School and spent many years employed as a welder. Robert was preceded in death by his brother, Reverend Douglas Branch, Lexington SC, and his sisters Baranda and Lamarious Wilson. Robert leaves to cherish his memories a step mother, Martha Wilson, one son Andre Wilson, one sister, Wanda (Jessie Jr.) Scott; five brothers, Stephen(Tammy) Wilson, of Mt. Pleasant, Vernon, Anthony, Fair, and Tim Talford, all of Columbia, SC, two very special family friends, Ethel Wilson and Emma Johnson, special nieces, Keona and Latoiya Scott, and a host of other nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. The Wilson family will be accepting friends at the J.H. Robinson Funeral Home, 701 Hendrix st, Lexington, SC on Saturday, August 13, from 1pm to 3pm. Afterwards they are inviting all their friends and well wishers to their home at 10 Rothberry Ct., Columbia, SC.
