On Saturday morning, June 7, 2014, at Lexington Medical Center, West Columbia, South Carolina, the almighty God reached out His hand of love to claim His own.
MR. ROBERT FRANK DAVIS was born in Lexington, South Carolina on January 19, 1930, to the late Arthur and Geneva Davis. He joined St. Paul Baptist Missionary Church at an early age. He served on the Trustee Board. He graduated from Lexington Rosenwald High School.
He was a successful entrepreneur. During his earlier career, he and his brother owned and operated Davis Garage. He later branched out on his own and opened Davis Auto Parts, West End Flea Market, Lexington Mini-Storage, Davis Used Cars, and Davis Scrap Metal. During his leisure time he loved boating and fishing.
Those left to cherish his memories are: His devoted wife, Evelyn Davis; two daughters, Brenda Guess and Jackie (Marlon) Brown, both of Lexington, SC; four grandsons, Kenneth and Brice Glenn, Xavier Guess, and Adam Wise, all of Lexington, SC; one granddaughter, Adrienne Wise, of Lexington, SC; one great-granddaughter, Chaquera Glenn, of Lexington, SC; one brother, A. C. Davis, Jr., of Lexington, SC; one sister, Amelia Standifer of Matteson, Illinois; and a host of other relatives, friends, business associates, and church members who will miss him dearly.

The Davis family will be receiving friends for visitation at the J.H. Robinson Funeral Home, 701 Hendrix St. Lexington, SC from 3 to 7pm on Tuesday, June 10, 2014.
FINAL VIEWING
Final viewing for Mr. Robert Davis will be at St. Paul Missionary Baptist Church, 606 W. Main St. Lexington, SC from 1:30pm to 2:30pm on Wednesday, June 11 2014.
FUNERAL SERVICES
Funeral services for Mr. Frank Davis will be held on Wednesday, June 11, 2014 at 2:30pm. Services will be held at St. Paul Missionary Baptist Church, 606 W. Main St., Lexington.
INTERMENT
Burial will commence immediately following the funeral services at New Bethel AME Church Cemetery, 500 S. Lake Drive, Lexington, SC
