On Wednesday afternoon January 23, 2013 at Lexington Medical Center, West Columbia, South Carolina, the almighty God reached out His Hand of Love to claim His own. Ricky Quincey Gleaton affectionately known as "Slick Rick" was born July 4, 1964 in Orangeburg County, North, South Carolina. He was the son of the late Essie M. Gleaton and the late Jake Q. Gleaton. He was a 1983 graduate of Pelion High School, Pelion, South Carolina. He was employed as a construction worker for many years until his death. Mr. Ricky Quincey Gleaton leaves those who shared the joys of life with him and cherish his loving memories: His (3) daughters, Catisha L. Staley of Aiken, SC; Shalandria (Rowell) Johnson of Aiken, SC; Quinnteal A Staley of Aiken, SC. (3) Sons; Rashawn Porterfield of Gaston, SC; Christopher Jones of Pelion, SC. Trelby M. Middleton of Pelion, SC who proceeded him in death; (2) sisters, Loretta L. Gleaton of Pelion, SC and Earline Pough of Salley, SC; (2) brothers; Bobby Gleaton of Pelion, SC and Bobby (Susie) Evans of Pawleys Island, SC. (2) Step brothers Bryston Glover and Harvey Jones who proceeded him in death of Pelion, SC. (3) Grandchildren Gabbrielle Johnson of Aiken, SC, Jaiden Middleton, and Jabias Jones of Pelion, SC. (3) Aunts, Majorie (Willie) Davis of Pelion, SC, Bernetta (Ben) McFadden of Hopkins, SC, Clarie (Levon) Gantt of Georgia, SC. Tommy (Florine) Pough of Pelion, SC. VISITATION The family will be accepting friends and wellwishers at the J.H. Robinson Funeral Home, 190 Railroad ave Wagener SC on January 26 2013 from 1:00 PM until 7:00 PM FUNERAL Funeral services for Mr. Ricky Gleaton will be held on January 27, 2013 3:00 PM at Maloney Baptist Church, 608 Salem Branch Rd, North South Carolina. Pastor Michael A. Knight will be presiding.
