Mr. Ray Michael Brown was born June 16, 1965 in Hollywood, Florida to the late Roosevelt Brown Sr. and Dorothy Brown, the second of five children. Ray was educated in Broward County School System. Ray was united in holy matrimony to his long time sweetheart Marchell Gardner on February 13, 2017. They were blessed with two children. On Sunday, September 10, 2017 the Lord extended his welcoming hands and peacefully escorted Ray Michael Brown away from this life. Ray now has fulfilled his purpose, and his family and friends though they may weep a while. Should rejoice and thank God for the life he shared with them. Though the presence of one so dear so no longer here. Wonderful memories will live on in the hearts of so many. A lovable person was he and will be greatly missed by his loving family and friends. Preceding Ray in death, his father Mr. Roosevelt Brown Sr. and his sister Ms. Pamela Jenise Brown. Ray leaves to cherish his memories, his loving wife Marchall Gardner Brown; three children Denetria Brown, Tavaris Brown, and Lemont Kennedy; his mother Dorothy Brown of Fort Lauderdale, Florida; two brothers Roosevelt (Anita) Brown, Jr. of Lauderhill, Florida and Louis Brown, Sr. of Dania Beach, Florida; two sisters Lois (Darryll) Roach of Fort Lauderdale, Florida, Sandra (Larry) Green-Tillman of South Carolina; seven aunts, two uncles and six sisters-in-laws and three brothers-in-laws and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives and friends who will miss Ray dearly.

Service Information

A committal service for Mr. Ray Michael Brown will be held 12:00 noon on Tuesday, September 26, 2017 at the Zion Hill Missionary Baptist Church, Wagener, SC.
