Mary Hudson was Born October 10, 1948, to Simon Brown, Sr. and Geneva Ellison Brown. She was a wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend.

Mary was a proud graduate of A L Corbett, Wagener, SC, Class of 1967. Upon graduating high school, she furthered her studies at South Carolina State University, Orangeburg, SC. She was a dedicated employee of Aiken County Public Schools and retired in 2012 after 20 plus years of service in the education field. Marys was a dedicated servant at Saron Baptist Church until her health began to fail. She served as a Deaconess, Youth Leader and as the President of the Kitchen Committee.

Mary was preceded in death by her parents,  brother  James L. Brown, and sister, Minnie Jones.

Cherishing Mary's memories forever is  her  loving husband of 55 years, Ronald R. Hudson. Her devoted children: Ronald (Denise) Hudson, Marcellus Hudson and MaRonda Hudson. Grandsons: Quincy Hudson and Reginald Hudson. Three sisters: Carolyn (James) Hall, Derotha Quattlebaum and Linda Jenkins ; One brother, Simon (Suzanne) Brown, Jr. Two Sister-in-laws: Malcoretta Hudson and Virginia (Perrie) Kitchings and Brother–in–law, Fred Williams. A special cousin, Michael Ellison; Godchildren: Sharetta Muldrow and  Randolph Kitchings; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
