A CELEBRATION OF LIFE AND VICTORY FOR MRS. MARJORIE E. PATTERSON Marjorie Patterson departed this life on August 20, 2015 at her home in Salley, SC. Marjorie was born to Andrew L.T. Edwards and Ellen Irene Edwards on March 20, 1942 in Henderson, NC. Marjorie was united in holy matrimony to Luecor Patterson. She was baptized at an early age. She attended Cook's Chapel A.M.E Zion and served on the usher board. Marjorie later united with St. Joseph Baptist Church in Philadelphia, PA where she was a dedicated and faithful member, and Antioch Baptist Church where she was the President of the choir. In the heart of those remaining, her memory will be cherished forever by her husband Luecor Patterson; her son Eugene M. (Linda) Young Jr. of Bolivia, NC; her sister Rosa Patterson of Atlanta, GA, two step sons Bobby Mitchell of Philadelphia, PA, Luecor Patterson Jr. of Salley, SC; three grandchildren Chance Young, Terrance Young and Jazmine Young of Greensboro, NC; one brother-in-law Clinton Patterson of Philadelphia, PA; two sister-in-laws Que Miller Mitchell of Columbia, SC and Hattie Patterson of BrooklyN, NY, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Service Information

Visitation for Mrs. Marjorie Patterson will be held Sunday, August 23, 2015 from 3 PM to 7 PM at the J. H. Robinson Funeral Home, 190 Railroad Avenue West Wagener, SC 29164. The "Home-going Celebration" for Mrs. Patterson will take place on Monday, August 24, 2015 starting at 1 PM at the Antioch Baptist Church 280 Hopewell Road North, SC 29112.
