Marion Curtis "Champ" Thomas, son of the late S.W. and Nezzie Lee Thomas was born on July 15, 1955 and died on October 11, 2020.

Marion was a member of Baughmanville Baptist Church, and attended Wagener Salley High School, where he graduated with the class of 1973.

Marion leaves to cherish the memories of his life one brother, Sellous Thomas of Augusta, GA; one sister, Laverne T. Jones of Wagener, SC; Two nephews, Bertron Thomas of Denver, Colorado, and Christopher Jones of Charlotte, NC; one niece, Christy Thomas of Aiken, SC; Two great nieces, Maya, and Nezzie Thomas of Denver Colorado, and a host of other relatives and friends.
