Obituary

"And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying neither shall there be no more pain." Revelation 21:4

Ms. Margie Helen Hall was born in Aiken County, South Carolina on February 5,1944. She was the daughter of the late James Benjamin Hall (1946) and Helen Jackson - Hall (2016).

Margie joined Saron Baptist Church at an early age and attended A.L. Corbett Public School with the graduating class of 1963. Afterwards, she spent the rest of her earthly life in the Washington, D.C. area. Which ended on March 22, 2025. During her adult life, Margie worked various positions and retired from the Federal Government of 30 years.

Margie had many things she enjoyed, but one of her favorite things to do was to go shopping! She also enjoyed planting flowers, and the one and only Washington Redskins #1 Fan. She also enjoyed crossword puzzles and talking politics. She treasured every day being a mom and grandmother to her daughter Teresa (Ree), grandchildren Davon, Destyni, Zoey and Gionni. Whom made up the entirety of her world until her passing. She was beautiful, one of a kind, classy and sassy, and to be loved by her was truly a blessing.

She leaves to cherish her memories to her Daughter, Teresa LeGrande (Johnny); two Grandchildren; Davon and Destyni LeGrande; two Great-Granddaughters, Zoey and Gionni LeGrande; a life long friend, Robert Livingston, the father of Teresa; her 5 siblings; James Hall (Carolyn), Ralph Danley Jr. (Debra), Ethel Burgess (Lawrence), Johnny Ray Danley (Gloria), and Kenneth Danley; one uncle. James Hall (Rosa); six aunts, Willie Mae Peterson, Gladys Livingston, Pearline Hall, Vernell Hall, and Eartha Spearman; a bonus Sister-in-Law, Vickie Standard and a host of nephews, nieces, and other relatives and friends.

"Those we love don't go away, they walk beside us everyday!"
