A LIFE WELL LIVED

Lucy V. Jones, daughter of Catherine and John Marks was born on March 20th, 1938 and transitioned to her heavenly home on April 5, 2021.

Lucy was born in St. Vincent where she was educated and raised with her siblings.  She migrated to Trinidad where she met and married Mr. Edwards and raised her family.  Lucy loved to travel, cook and gardening.  She later migrated to Canada where she lived for a few years before moving to New York where she made home. She met and married Gus Jones, and together they moved to Wagener, SC where she lived for over two decades.

Lucy loved to worship and praise her Lord God Almighty.   She was an active member of Friendship Baptist Church for many years before becoming a member of Saron Baptist Church, which brought her complete joy and fulfilment.

Lucy leaves behind her children, grandchildren, great grandchildren, siblings and dearly beloved friends.

Graveside services for Mrs Lucy Jones will be held on Saturday, April 17, 2021,  1100AM at Friendship Baptist Church Cemetery.
