Linda Petty born December 28, 1960, in Birmingham, AL to the late Mary Frances Jackson and Robert Lee Kirkland. Linda was a sweet, compassionate woman who liked cooking, playing Bingo and always went above and beyond to satisfy her family and loved ones. Mrs. Petty gained her wings early Saturday morning February 19, 2022.

Linda was a graduate of Culinary Arts. She also was a beloved mother who was loved by so many. She loved to cook and would like to feed everyone she could. She was always known as the "Neighborhood MOM". She was our HERO!

Linda preceded to death by her parents, Husband Ronald Glade Petty and her two sisters Nell and Lunette. Those left to cherish her memories are her daughters, Mandy, Kysha, and Sharon Petty and Danielle Blanton. 28 Grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. Her longtime boyfriend William O'Kelly, and Her stepchildren Brandi, Olivia, Jennifer, William, Travis, Nikki and Lee. She also has two living siblings Douglas and Denise.
