Lateefah "Cookie" Sha'Neal Williams was the daughter of Ms. Rose Staley of Wagener, South Carolina and Gregory Garvin of Springfield, South Carolina. On July 29, 2015 The Almighty God called home one of his precious gifts. She attended and graduated from Wagener-Salley High School in 2012. She was employed at Amick Farms located in Batesburg, South Carolina until early demise. A brother, Bradley Salley, nephew Kwame Sander Jr, Grandfather W.A. Jones, and Aunt Catha Chandler preceded her in death. Those left to cherish her memories are: Three children, Malcolm Jamel Williams, Jr, Ja'Mari Markell Williams, and Ariana Na'Ziya Williams, all of Wagener, SC.; Mother, Rose Staley, Wagener, SC; Father, Gregory Garvin, Springfield, SC; Granddad Thomas Staley, Springfield, SC; Two Grandmothers, Mildred Staley of Wagener, SC and Ann Garvin of Springfield, SC; Two Sisters, Tyesiha Staley of Greenwood, SC and Courtney Valentine of Columbia, SC; Three Brothers, Martinez Staley and Tre'Von Salley both of Wagener, SC and Tregory Garvin of Wagener, SC; along with 3 nieces; 3 nephews and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. Two special aunts, Joyce Staley and Inga Cannon; Three special sisters, Basha Gaines, Julissa Gaines-Robinson, Claunette Chandler; Four Special Cousins, Bryanna Staley, Franise Ware, Demetria Rouse, and Latensha Salley. Most special friend De'Shon Ford.

Service Information

Visitation will be held on Monday, August 3rd 2015 from 3:00pm until 7:00pm at the J.H. Robinson Funeral Home, 190 Railroad Avenue, Wagener, SC. The Homegoing Celebration for Mrs. Lateefah Sha'neal Williams will be held on Tuesday, August 4th, 2015 3:00pm at Smyrna Baptist Church, 1186 Smyrna Church Rd. Springfield, SC 29146.
