LARRY EDDIE "LA" SUMMERS Larry Eddie "LA" Summers, of 241 YMCA Road, Lexington, SC died Sunday, December 4, 2011 at his home. Larry is the son of the late Olin "Buck" Summers and Jestine Hendrix Rawls was born Lexington, SC on April 26, 1945. Larry is survived by Dorothy Davis-Summers of the home; three sons, James "Jimmy" Bickley, of Salsbury, NC, Larry E. "Tiger" Summers, Jr., of Columbia, SC, and Brent D. Davis of Texas ; two daughters, Bridgette Summers and Samantha Summers both of Lexington, SC, one twin brother, Harry Freddie (Marelda) Summers, two sisters, Ethel Anderson (Rosevelt) and Christine Summers all of Lexington, SC, 10 grandchildren; James O. "Scooter" Bickley, Jr., Zahria Bickley, Jared Pound, Donte' Summers, Jacob Stovall, Macey Summers, David "Trey" Green, BarbaraBrooke M. Summers, Tiana Laurie and Olivia Davis, two sisters-in-law, Patricia Strother of Lexington, SC and Mable Smith of Leominster, MA; one brother-in-law, Frank L. Smith of Winston Salem, NC; seven nieces and four nephews and a host of other relatives and friends.

Service Information

VISITATION The family will be receiving friends and well wishers on Saturday, December 10, 2011 from 3 pm to 8 pm at the J.H. Robinson Funeral Home located at 701 Hendrix St. Lexington, SC 29072 FUNERAL SERVICES Funeral Services will be held Sunday, December 11, 2011at 2:00 pm at Pleasant Hill Missionary Baptist Church. Burial will be in the church cemetery. The body will be placed in the church one hour prior to the service for viewing.
