Kenneth Lee Chandler, the son of Branch Chandler and the late Jessie Mae Brown was born in Aiken County ,South Carolina on October 2,1964. He was the youngest of four children. He joined Ocean Grove Baptist Church at an early age where he served faithfully until his death. He entered into eternal rest on January 11,2017.
Kenneth served as a Parent Teacher Educator for 28 years as an employee of Richland I School District. Kenneth was the chairperson of the following committees: School Improvement Council ,Grandparents Day, Books and Breakfast, Harmony Group, Community with all churches,Palmetto Richland Memorial Hospital,Founder of Men`s night out, and writer of Wagener monthly newspaper.
Kenneth was a champion for the parents and youth he mentored. He loved working with people and was the first to advocate their success. He worked tirelessly and often at his own expense to host programs that educated and empowered individuals to be their self. An easy going and loving spirit,quite simply , Kenneth loved God!
He was preceded in death by his sister Izolia Chandler Isaac. He is survived by his Father Branch ,Brother Dennis Chandler , and Sister Minister Viola Williams(Clarence) Williams. Nephew Mitch Issac, Nieces,Donna Carol Issac, Rosetta (Gabriel) Green, Godsons, Coby Sr. and Coby Jr. Taylor and a host for Uncles,Aunts ,relatives and friends. And a special Aunt Ms. Olia Mae Chandler.
