Obituary

Mrs. Juanita "Skeet" Rawls Walker went home to be with her heavenly Father on Wednesday, June 18, 2014. Born February 8, l925 to the late Willie Elliott and Isabelle Hampton Rawls. She was married to the late William "Tee" Walker and to this union, two children were born - Wanda W. Foulks and the late Woodrow (Woodie) Walker. "Skeet", as she was known by all, was a faithful member of the New Bethel A. M. E. Church, where she joined at an early age. Before her illness, she was very active as an usher, and sang on the Usherboard, Women's Missionary and Stewardess, Emeritus. She leaves to mourn her passing, one daughter, Wanda (Jimmy) Foulks, two grandchildren - Lyvette (Tony) Snelgrove and Torrey Foulks; three great-grandchildren - Tyrus and Austin Snelgrove and Alexis Conrad; one great-great-granddaughter - Sophia Snelgrove; one sister - Mrs. Doris King; brothers and sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and many loving friends.

Service Information

Visitation The Walker family will be accepting friends and well-wishers at the J.H. Robinson Funeral Home, 701 Hendrix St. Lexington SC, between the hours of 3pm and 7pm on Sunday, June 22, 20144 Final viewing Final viewing for Mrs. Juanita Walker will be held on Monday, June 23, 2014 at New Bethel A.M.E. Church, 500 S. Lake Dr., Lexington, SC from 1 to 2pm. Funeral Services Funeral services for Mrs. Juanita Walker will be held on Monday, June 23, 2014 at New Bethel A.M.E. Church, 500 S. Lake Dr., Lexington, SC at 2:00pm. Burial will follow immediately after the homegoing services in the Church Cemetery.
