John Miles entered the world on January 20, 1965, to Shirley M. Edwards and Jasper Kitchings in New Holland, SC.  John was called home on December 4, 2023. John Miles spent half his life as a local and long-haul truck driver, but to most, he will be remembered as their favorite mechanic. John was a brother, uncle, and father that would give his last to those he loved. John Miles was preceded in death by his stepfather, Paul Edwards, father Jasper Kitchings, and sister Mary Ann Kitchings. John Miles's legacy continues through his loved ones: mother, Shirley M. sisters, David Edwards, Minnie Mae Drayton, Delores (Charles) Edwards, Marie Edwards and Calvin Edwards, Shawn Kitchings, Essie Kitchings, and Jasper Kitchings Jr.; three uncles, John Henry Miles and Lee (Catherine) Garvin, Otis Garvin; three aunts, Diana Wise, Rosa Kitchings, Barbara Kitchings; two lights of his world Jaya and Zaya Paige and a host of nephews, nieces and family.
