John H. Kirby, son of the late Shelly and Leola Green Kirby, was born on June 5, 1942, and passed on April 12, 2024.

John was born in Blythewood, South Carolina and spent most of his life in the Lexington and West Columbia areas.

John was married to Wilhelmenia James Kirby, who preceded him in passing.  He was also preceded in passing by six of his siblings.

John leaves to cherish the memories of the life that he lived one daughter Demetra Kirby; one son Antonio Kirby; six stepchildren, two sisters Ruth Kirby and Betty Kirby, and a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other family members and friends.
