James Wille Staley, son of the late Lester B and Myrtis Wooden Staley, was born on June 2, 1940, and transitioned peacefully on January 7, 2020.

James was educated in the public schools of Aiken County.  He became a member of Friendship Baptist Church, where he later became a Deacon of the Church.

James married Bessie on April 19, 1959, and to this union, seven children were born, three of which preceded him in death.

Those preceding James in death are two sons, Bernard Staley and James E. Staley, and a daughter Laverne Williams.

James leaves to cherish his precious memories, his wife Bessie Staley, four daughters, Myrtis Smith of Edgefield, SC, Vonnett Valentine of Salley, SC, Vickie Staley of Windsor, SC, and Berdia Staley of Salley, SC; one son Fames (Yolanda0 Forrest of North Augusta, SC; 18 grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren, 1 great great grands, and a host of other family members and friends.
