Jake Onnie Lee Gleaton Salley - Funeral services Mr. Jake Onnie Lee Gleaton will be held on Thursday January 10, 2013, 1:00 PM at Hall Hill Missionary Baptist Church, 1140 Cedar Creek Rd. Swansea, SC 29160. The Reverend Eugene Green will be providing services for the family. Onnie was born 67 years ago on May 20, 1945 in Lexington County, SC. He was the son of the late Jake and Davie Bell Gleaton. He departed this life on Wednesday, January 2 2013, while at the Lexington Medical Center. At an early age she accepted Jesus Christ at Hall Hill Missionary Baptist Church where he later sang on the senior choir until his death. He received his education from the Lexington county public schools. Jake was married to Eartha Mae Jackson, who preceded him in death, and to this union they were blessed with four children. He was preceded in death by his parents, Jake and Dovie Gleaton, brothers, JQ and Willie lee Gleaton, and sister Julie Bell Gleaton. Jake Onnie Lee Gleaton leaves to cherish his memory; four daughters, Andrea Lynn Bailey, Lavonda Carter, Detresies Carter all of Columbia, and Frances of Pelion; one son Dewyane Gleaton of Columbia, two sisters Clarie (Levon) Gantt, Roswell GA, and Bernette (Ben) McFadden of Hopkins, SC; 10 grandchildren, 6great-grandchildren, a Devoted Friend, Fran Stroman of Pelion, SC and a host of nieces, nephews, other family members and friends whom will all miss him dearly.

Service Information

VISITATION The family will be accepting friends and visitors at the J.H. Robinson Funeral Home, 190 Railroad ave., Wagener, SC 29164 on Wednesday January 9, 2013 between the hours of 3 and 7 pm. There will also be a visitation on Thursday January 10,2012 between the hours of 12:00 noon and 1:00pm at the Hall Hill Missionary Baptist Church, Swansee, SC FUNERAL SERVICES Funeral services for Mr. Onnie Lee Gleaton will be held on Thursday, January 10,2013, 1:00pm at the Hall Hill Missionary Baptist Church, 1140 Cedar Creek Rd.
