Mr. Horace Williams was born January 21, 1944 to the late Mrs. Gladys Baugh-Williams and Mr. Horace Williams. He departed this earthly life on Friday, July, 24, 2015 at College Park Nursing Home location in Atlanta, GA. Mr. Horace had a tremendous love for Gospel Music and he also enjoyed being a member of "The Exciting Incredibles" and "The Sweet Singing Disciples" of Atlanta, GA. He attended the public school system in Aiken County. He was united in Holy Matrimony to Mrs. Betty Ruth White Williams on August 25, 1963, to this union was born one son. He worked at General Motors for 15 years. He owned and operated his business for 35 years as a truck driver transporting new vehicles across the United States. He was preceded in death by his mother and father as well as his two brothers, Mr. George Williams and Mr. Harry Williams. He leaves to cherish his loving memories his wife, Mrs. Betty Ruth White Williams; two sons, Mr. Horace K. (Jacqueline) Williams Of Lexington, SC and Terrence J. Boynton of Atlanta, GA; One sister Evetta Landy of Albany, N.Y.; and one brother, Mr. Michael (Diane) Williams of Blackville, S.C.; Four Grandchildren, Lauren and Jayden Williams of Lexington, S.C. and Myah Character of Athens, GA.; And Anthony Johnican of Columbia, S.C.; a great-granddaughter, Joydynn Character; a host of cousins, nieces, nephews and many sorrowing friends.

Service Information

Visitation will be held Friday, July 31st 2015 from 3:00pm until 7:00pm at the J.H. Robinson Funeral Home, 190 Railroad Avenue, Wagener, SC. The Homegoing Celebration for Mr. Horace Williams will be held on Saturday, August 1st 2015 11:00pm at Baughmanville Baptist Church, 125 Baughmanville Rd., Wagener, SC 29164
