On Monday February 4, 2013 at 6:00 pm while at the Lexington Medical Center in West Columbia, SC. Fredricka Peebles answered Gods call for eternal rest. Mrs. Fredricka Kianta Peebles was born April 19, 1982 and was the daughter of the late Freddie Lee Gantt and Brenda Joyce Myers. Fredricka attended the public schools in Pelion and graduated from Pelion High School. She later attended Midlands Technical College and was currently employed by The J. H. Robinson Funeral Home. She also has worked with 1-800 Medicaid and the Burton Center. Fredricka enjoyed helping out at her son's schools, Red Bank Elementary. As a youth Fredricka became a member of Hall Hill Baptist Church where she was a member of the Children Choir and later joined the Youth and the Gospel Choir. Those that preceded Fredricka in returning home are her grandparents Harvey Edmond and Corea Edmond, Louise Austin, Lawance Edmond and Lula Edmond, Bessie Gantt and great great-grand mother Isabel Austin. Mrs. Fredricka K. Peebles leaves those that shared the joys of her live and loving memories a loving husband, William Tyrone Peebles; two sons, T.J. and Tyson Peebles of the home, a loving mother, Ms. Brenda Joyce Myers of Lexington; a devoted step father, Ray C. Austin of Pelion; her devoted sister, Marieka Myers, Lexington and Tamekia Gantt of Saluda; brothers Fredrick Gantt, and Sheldon Gantt of Batesburg; a loving god mother, god brothers and god sisters; a loving mother-in-law, Mrs. Carrie L. (Kelvin) Cook; a loving father-in-law William Gortman; a grandfather Mr. Curtis Gantt of Saluda; a loving sister-in-law, Annett (B.T.) Peebles and a host of uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews, cousins other family members and friends.

Service Information

VISITATION The family will be accepting friends and well wishers for viewing at the J.H. Robinson Funeral Home, 701 Hendrix St. Lexington, SC on Friday, February 8, 2013 between the hours of 2:00pm and 7:00pm. There will also be a viewing on Saturday at the Hall Hill Missionary Baptist Church, 1140 Cedar Creek Rd., Swansea SC between the hours of 1:00 and 2:00pm. FUNERAL SERVICES Funeral services for Mrs. Fredricka Peebles will be held on Saturday, February 9, 2013 2:00 pm at Hall Hill Missionary Baptist Church, 1140 Cedar Creek Rd. Swansea SC. The Reverend Eugene Green will be officiating.
