Fannie Lavina Pontoo the daughter of Betty Ann Pontoo and the late Felest Pontoo, Sr., was born on September 1, 1969 in Aiken, SC. Fannie completed her journey and went to be with the Lord on Sunday, June 13, 2021. Fannie was a graduated of Wagener-Salley High School. She became a member of Smyrna Baptist Church at an early Age.

Fannie is preceded in death by her father, Felest Pontoo, Sr.,  and her brothers Felest Pontoo, Jr., and James Earl Pontoo. Those left to cherish the memories of her life are  her 4 daughters; Angelique Pontoo of Pelion, SC, Jessica Gleaton of Pelion, SC, Keyonda Pontoo of Wagener, SC, and Jasmine Pontoo Pelion, SC; her mother Betty Ann Pontoo of Aiken, SC; 3 brothers, Randy Jackson, Sandy Jackson, Charlie Jackson; one sister Kelia (Ronald) Ginyard of Wagener, SC; step-sister Maybell Gray; 7 grandchildren; 2 uncles John Kitchings, and Willie Kitchings, and a host of other family members and friends.
