Mr. Ernest Lee Samuels was born March 23, 1949 in Aiken County. He was the son of the late Willie "Ike" and Louise Bolton Samuels.

Ernest entered into eternal rest Tuesday, January 26, 2021 at the Aiken Reginal Medical Centers, Aiken, SC.

At an early age Ernest joined the Saron Baptist Church.  He attended A.L. Corbett School, Wagener, SC.

He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers Arthur and PFC Isaiah Samuels.  Those left to cherish his fond memories are: Four brothers, Deacon Willie (Willie Mae) Samuels and Edward Samuels, both of Aiken SC, Louis Samuels, Wagener, SC and Alvin L. Samuels, Greenville, SC. Five sisters Diane Akinsipe, West Columbia, SC, Janie M. Williams, Anna S. James, Barbara L. Samuels and Hattie Frazier all of Wagener, SC.  An Aunt Wilie Mae Hughey of Columbia SC and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends and his extended family at Hampton Street House, Fairfax, SC.
