Mrs. Elouise Drafts Gary was born on September 9, 1947 to the late Sims and Hattie Mae Drafts in Leesville, South Carolina. On February 5, 2025 Elouise gained her precious wings.

Elouise attended Rosenwald School in Lexington, SC. Prior to her marriage, she resided in the Gilbert and Mt. Zion communities for many years. At an early age, Elouise, joined the Friendship Baptist Church in Leesville, SC. She later joined the St. Mark Missionary Baptist Church in Leesville, SC with her Husband, the late Olin Gary.

Elouise enjoyed spending time at home with her grands, especially during the holidays. She was an Uber driver for residents in need of transportation before "Uber" was established.

Along with her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her brothers; Willie G. Drafts, Clinton Drafts, Cal Langford, Ernest Langford and Charles Langford.

Mrs. Elouise Drafts Gary leaves her legacy to her children, Ann (Reginald) Byrd of West Columbia, SC, Rodney Drafts of Gilbert, SC and Tony Drafts of Lexington, SC; siblings, Robert Drafts of Columbia, SC and Lula D. (James) Glover of Leesville, SC; sister-in-law, Vera (Joseph) Gary; nine grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren along with many nieces, nephews other loving family members and friends
