Obituary

On February 15, 1946, Mr. Eddie Lee "BOO" Cannon began his earthly journey in Gilbert, South Carolina. He was lovingly adopted by the late James and Mamie Pea Cannon. Eddie was educated at Hollow Creek School and later attended Lexington High School. He was a member of Tabernacle Baptist Church in Batesburg-Leesville. Mr. Cannon was a hard working man, and was employed several years at AT&T Nassau and later Graniteville Milling Company, up until his illness. Boo was known as being an easy-going person, who enjoyed laughing and dancing immensely. He was also an avid pet lover. All those who knew him regarded him as a man of few words with a loving heart. On December 7, 2013, Mr. Eddie Lee "BOO" Cannon entered into his eternal rest, at his residence. He was predeceased by his wife, Patsy Sulton and daughter: Bonnie M. Cannon. He leaves to cherish his memory: two daughters: Florie Cannon and Sabrina Cannon Buggs both of Wagener, SC; 1 son-in-law: Columbus A. Buggs Jr., of Wagener, SC; one sister: Rose (Tommie) Cannon-Scott of Eastover, SC; 3 grandchildren: Rychell Cannon, Melvin Chandler, Rykiah Cannon; 1 great-grandchild: Ariyonna Pryce; 1 Godchild: Shawanda (Ben) Cannon; and a host of cousins, other loving relatives and many caring friends.
