Pastor Dyquan Hykeem Jamaal Adams, lovingly known as “Bojack,” was born on November 2, 1994, in Greenwood County, SC, to Christie Cannon and the late Donald Springs. He grew up in the nurturing care of his grandparents, Ben and Elouise Adams. Early Sunday morning, April 19, 2026, Daquan responded to the Master's call.

He was baptized at Hall Chapel Baptist Church in Leesville, SC, at a young age and later transferred his membership to Saint Mark Missionary Baptist Church in Leesville, SC. On June 1, 2025, he took on the role of Pastor at Hall Hill Missionary Baptist Church in Swansea, SC, an honor that marked a significant chapter in his life. Pastor Adams was a beacon of faith and dedication, whose life touched many through his unwavering commitment to his spiritual calling and his community. Throughout his life, Pastor Dyquan exemplified the virtues of compassion, kindness, and leadership. His ministry was marked by a deep sense of purpose and an enduring desire to uplift those around him. He served as a guiding light for many, inspiring hope and fostering a sense of unity among his congregation and friends.

A proud 2013 graduate of Batesburg-Leesville High School, Dyquan pursued further education at Piedmont Technical College in Greenwood, SC, where he studied Mortuary Science. Pastor Adams was dedicated and devoted staff member at J.H. Robinson Funeral Home. He worked at Flextronics in West Columbia, SC, but his true passion lay in coaching track and field. His coaching journey took him to Spring Valley High School, Gray Collegiate Academy, and White Knoll High School. At Grey Collegiate Academy, it was noted, “Coach Adams made a lasting impact on so many of our student-athletes, not only in competition but in life, serving as a mentor, leader, and role model to countless young people.”

Coach Adams had an unwavering love for sports, rooting for his favorite teams—the Washington Commanders, Florida Gators, and Duke Blue Devils.

He was preceded in death by his father, Donald Springs.
