Early Wednesday morning, December 4, 2013, God sent an angel to get his son. Dwight E "Pearl" Davis was born on July 31, 1952 to the late Wilbert R Davis and Mary E Jones. He joined New Bethal AME Church at an early age. After graduating for Lexington High School, Dwight served in the United States Marine Corp. He worked at Corley Brother's Mill for a number of years. He was preceded in death by his: Mother, Mary E Jones; sister, Karen L Jones; and brother, Alton R Davis. Dwight leaves to cherish his memories; 3 sons, Bryan Watkins, Dedric and Brandon of Lexington; step father, Robert Jones; 3 sisters, Linda Davis, Phylis (Steve) Taylor, and Robin Taylor; 4 brothers, Wilbert A Davis, Albert E Jones, Willie Rister, and Larry Rister. He also leaves a host of uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews, cousins, and many friends to cherish his memories.

Service Information

The family will be receiving friends on Sunday, December 8, 2013 from 11-7 at JH Robinson Funeral Home, 701 Hendrix St, Lexington, SC. Another viewing will be held before the funeral service from 12 to 1 PM at New Bethel AME Church. Funeral services will be held at 1PM on Monday, December 9 at New Bethel AME Church, 500 S Lake Dr., Lexington, SC.
